Integrated project delivery

At Structurama we believe in and practice “Integrated Project Delivery”, IPD, as the way to deliver to our clients the best solution in precast concrete structures. Our IPD is based on the BIM Environment that we have developed in-house by taking the extraordinary capabilities of the latest in BIM software and matching these capabilities with a project management approach to create IPD.

The Traditional Building Design, TBD, is a segregated approach where project stakeholders work independently in steps to put together a final finished project. This is similar to how CAD is used to create 2D drawings and then they are passed on to other project participants in a linear relationship.

IPD makes full use of BIM not only to work in 3D but in a team oriented, collaborative way for all participants where all information is shared and worked on collaboratively. This approach maximizes speed and efficiency while minimizing errors, reducing waste, and lowering costs. In addition the BIM environment provides long term benefits in the sustainability and maintenance of the structure, a total life cycle approach.

Finally, in addition to a wide expertise of precast concrete building systems, Structurama is also experienced in the design of fully automated or traditional precast plants.
