Jet Grouting Technology
Today we’d like to show you a very interesting technology for creating deep foundations, especially in highly liquefiable soils. Thanks to a high-pressure injection, columns can be created that have the primary purpose of consolidating and increasing the performance of the soil on the construction site. Being comparable to a consolidation rather than a deep piling operation, even the calculation system many times become “custom-made” and can lead to wrong results. In Structurama®, for WAMGROUP® ‘s new Filter project, a study was carried out using finite element software to simulate the behaviour of a slab reacting on soil with different localised densities due to the position of the columns. It can be seen in the images below how the system reacts all together, with zones of increased resistance, simulating a real diffuse consolidation of the soil, aimed at combating liquefaction and deformations that could structurally damage the slab and the mechanised warehouse inside it.
We invite you to contact us whether you need support and help with the foundations construction part, as well as for any other details.
Check out precast building systems for large and medium residential buildings! Starting from traditional systems, through the medium until evolved technologies, concrete precast systems can offer a wide range of possibilities in use, budget, background and aesthetical variations.
These systems ensure high sound and thermal insulation, seismic performances and high quality and durability, construction are independent from weather conditions so that the timetables are totally respected.
Moreover, they allow to produce exterior finishes and conduits arrangements off-site, reducing construction time and controlling costs.
Due to the technology chosen, we have the possibility to cover big spans, to build high buildings, to use totally dry systems, to have layout flexibility, as well as to avoid thermal bridges.
